INTERNSHIP

On October 21st, 2014 i finished my internship. Happy? Sad? I don't know how to describe it to be honest. One side i'm happy that all of this finally over. It's been a year i've been working there and for sure lots and lots of memories.

Today i came to my workplace doing my clearance. Ah..feel so emotional inside here (tap my heart lol). My first working experience was here. I still remember all the things i did last year in 2013 until now. Stay at waffle and ice cream station, cut fruits from watermelon until berries, decorating petit fours, do production shift, went home late night because of lots of production or the holiday season, not celebrating christmas eve, spent my new year on the basement floor, yeah precious moment that i will remember cos i learn a lot. Not only about skill, but the most important thing that is about how to be stronger and stronger each day, mentally and physically (see i gain muscle now!). Thanks to my workplace, i can learn it. I met lots of people from different countries and of course have different characters and some of them becoming my friends and still keep in touch till now, understand that people work hard for money (even there's one person who didn't go home for a week and sleep only 3-4 hours a day inside the locker room), the one who did things for sake of money though they don't like what they are doing. And of course, i see a lot of beautiful things that make me smile, too. An auntie who always greet everyone and asking “你吃过了 ?” which means “have you eat?”, an uncle who neatly patch the laminate floor and take care all the laminate floors that we step in so we won't slip and fall down, seeing many guests having vacation with their families and their happy faces when i served them, or when i gave kids ice cream and saw their expressions..priceless. And somemore... realizing my self, realizing my thought has already grown until this stage. Easily be happy seeing small things happening in front of me, not take something easily inside heart, and try to be positive everyday. Though i know it's not easy, but i still learn to do it one step, one step, one more step everyday. Now that i'm unemployed and finishing school very soon. What's next?

Xx,
Pamela
