MOOD

Sometimes, I'd like to think if i were belong to 60s-80s time. Whenever I listen to jazz musicians such as Count Basie, Chet Baker, Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra, Bill Evans, I feel like riding a time machine and going back into 60s. There's a specific moment that is so soothing, both mind and soul.

Right now as I'm typing, a slight drizzle, japanese cherry blossom aromatherapy candle, warm chamomile tea, lil darlin song. What else do I need?

Keep reminding my self "You can choose".
You can choose to be or not to be,
You can choose to do or not to do,
You can choose to find or to be found,
You can choose to stay or to leave,
You can choose to fight or let him tearing you apart,
Remember, you are not a tree. You can move on.

Here's a clip of one of my favorite song from Count Basie

Enjoy them, especially at night as your lullaby :)

DECISION

So many thoughts crossed over my minds for these past few months. Maybe if there's something like "inside out"  movie inside my mind, they're having a good fight inside here. hahah. Hard for me to let go the things that already like routines for me, the relationship that already close, even work on the weekends and public holiday as well. But girl, you gotta do what you gotta do for life, right?
A few more weeks till i become unemployed. Not totally, actually, now I'm working on a mini project that already started going on.. I hope it goes well as the time goes by.
*finger crossed*

Here's the picture that I hope will motivate you as they did to me...

Pamela

Hello! It's been ages since I posted my internship experience and now I settle down back to my hometown, Indonesia. Last week I was on kitchen training and helping them to make hot cross buns since Good Friday will be coming very soon. And so, I was inspired to make them this morning.

Hola amigos! This post is all about sweets & chocolate. Went to Marina Bay Sands last Saturday with my girls and can't ask for more! This event was held by world re-owned pastry chef from Barcelona, Christian Escribà and her wife, Patricia Schmidt. A total of 18 tons of cakes, chocolates, meringues, and pastry in this unparalleled show of its kind.
Just wanna share bunch of photos (and also shameless selfie) that i took when i was there and this is it :)))

Plated Desserts

Sweet, sweet, and sweeeet! Loving school week where i can learn more techniques. Oh by the way, in my school, we have rotating system, consist of work and school. So every two weeks we work at our apprenticeship site and the next one week go back to school. Of course after two weeks, there will be many stories to share between me and my friends. Our work experience, including all the good and bad things..(even if it's bad we still have to survive, right? ;) ) just take everything as the experience that you will remember forever as the part of your life (what the heck i'm saying..hahaha). Let's just enjoy the rest of two months internship!
So let's begin...

Pizzeria Mozza Marina Bay Sands

Hello Fellas!
During my hectic days between work and school (cos my school's system consist of 2 weeks work and a week school), finally i can catch up with my friends. We're going to one of my friend's workplace in Pizzeria Mozza, Marina Bay Sands. It's an italian restaurant which was opened by Nancy Silverton, Mario Batalli and Joseph Bastianich. Originally, their branch is in Los Angeles. The restaurant was quite crowded during lunchtime. So what you can guess.. we got a lot of benefits (considering one of our friend is a chef there..lol thanks to Joalynn). We got a lot of compliments and discount. Actually it's been a long time ago..maybe 2 months ago. but today i feel like want to post it
